Gary W. Morden Centre will be a fire and emergency training site which is scheduled for its completion at the end of 2010. This new training centre is a testament to the late fire chief Gary Morden who had dedicated his life for the fire safety of the Mississauga community. The centre will provide guidance and training in producing skilled individuals who will master in all techniques of suppressing fire, material handling, rescue and releasing vehicles during a fire accident. The centre will have a HVAC system, air quality monitoring systems and low consumption showers. The major goal is to encourage trainees so that they obtain expertise in emergency response activities and provide superior services to save citizens.
