Mississauga Condo landscape is about to be change in a dramatic way by the just announced brand new 10 building Toronto style Condominium project by Rogers Real Estate. The M City Condos project is located at the corner of Burnhamthorpe Road W and Confederation Pkwy, and it is directly across the street from the still under construction Parkside Village project. This corner of the Mississauga is shaping up to be the new Centre of City Centre.
The developer, Rogers Real Estate Development is allocating some of the land which was purchased by late Ted Rogers in the 60s for park space. Rogers Real Estate Development has engaged NYC based Cooper Robertson to design the framework. Some of Cooper Robertson’s past work include The Park Las Vegas, and Hudson Yards in NYC.
Urban Capital will manage the project. Urban Capital has recently been named as one of Toronto’s most recognizable developers by Torontoist. Since their first project, Camden Lofts, back in 1996, Urban Capital has worked on several projects in Toronto and other cities like Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax.
The M City Condos plans allow for 6,000 units for rent or sale, ranging in price from $200,000 to $700,000 with the first phase of construction beginning in late 2017 or earlier 2018 and continue in stages over the next decade. The first tower is expected to make an iconic addition to the skyline with 51 stories and 700 units which will go up for sale in 2017. With the cost of condos sky rocketing, there will not be a lot of the $200,000 units available. If you are interested in getting your hands on one the low end units, you have to register early, M City Condos Registration, work with a local Real Estate Agent to maximize your chances as those units will be sold the same day they become available.
