Mississauga Ward candidates meeting gets heated

October 15th, 2010

The meeting of the Mississauga’s Ward 10 candidates got heated up when Sue McFadden criticized the opponent for not living in the ward. Another challenger, Patrick Mendes said that McFadden has the lowest attendance records for the city council meetings and that he did not live in the ward during the last elections.

The common point discussed in the meeting was the lack of recreational facilities in the ward. Many candidates promised that they will be improving the facilities for the youth in the ward, while many other vowed politically that they would provide the affordable housing and senior services to the families.
